Your role

The Microsoft Platform Developer is responsible for designing, developing, configuring, integrating, and supporting the Integrated Case Management and Contact Center Solution built on the Microsoft ecosystem, including Dynamics 365, Power Platform, Microsoft 365, Azure services, and AI capabilities.

This hands-on technical role serves as a key contributor in the evolution of the Integrated Case Management, Contact Center and AI Solutions. The successful candidate will develop and maintain code and configurations, automate business processes, support system integrations, and help ensure platform reliability, security, scalability, and long-term sustainability.

The role partners closely with business stakeholders, Business Intelligence and IT teams, and external vendors to deliver solutions that improve service delivery, operational efficiency, data quality, and user experience.

CCTS operates on a hybrid working structure. This role currently is required to attend the CCTS office in Ottawa one day per week.

Our ideal candidate

Our ideal candidate has strong problem solving and analytical skills, able to leverage the Microsoft ecosystem with ease. They should have strong experience with Microsoft Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, Dynamics 365, Power Pages, Microsoft 365 ecosystem, Azure services, and REST APIs and integrations. We’re also looking for working knowledge of Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, Power Fx , JavaScript, C#, SQL, and Azure Apps and Functions.

This role will collaborate with internal stakeholders and vendors, so strong communications skills are necessary to ensure this role is successful. We’re looking for someone proactive, who is ready to be the resident ‘expert’ of their function and has the follow-through to ensure the changes we make with these systems and platforms stick. Must-have magic

  • College diploma in a related field
  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Development, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience developing solutions within the Microsoft ecosystem.
  • Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Power Platform and Dynamics 365.
  • Experience developing and supporting applications and Dataverse-based solutions.
  • Experience with enterprise application integrations and cloud technologies.
  • Experience working within Agile or iterative development environments.

Good to have

  • Experience with Dynamics 365 Contact Center and Omnichannel capabilities.
  • Experience implementing AI-enabled solutions using Microsoft Copilot Studio or Azure AI services.
  • Experience with DevOps, release automation, and environment strategy.
  • Experience supporting integrated case management, contact center, CRM, customer service, HR, finance, or enterprise service management systems.
  • Knowledge of data, privacy, cyber security, and compliance principles.
