Le rapport de cette ann\u00e9e rend compte d\u2019une ann\u00e9e compl\u00e8te pendant laquelle les Canadiens ont v\u00e9cu la pand\u00e9mie, qui a commenc\u00e9 au milieu de la derni\u00e8re p\u00e9riode du rapport annuel de la CPRST.<\/p>\n<p>Faits saillants du rapport\u00a0:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Plus de <strong>17\u00a0000\u00a0plaintes <\/strong>ont \u00e9t\u00e9 accept\u00e9es.<\/li>\n<li>La CPRST continue de r\u00e9soudre pr\u00e8s de 9\u00a0plaintes sur\u00a010.<\/li>\n<li>Les probl\u00e8mes soulev\u00e9s le plus souvent \u00e9taient li\u00e9s \u00e0 la <strong>divulgation<\/strong> d\u2019information et \u00e0 la<\/li>\n<li>Les services qui ont fait l\u2019objet du plus grand nombre de plaintes sont, par ordre d\u00e9croissant, les services sans fil, internet, de t\u00e9l\u00e9vision et de t\u00e9l\u00e9phonie locale.<\/li>\n<li>Cette ann\u00e9e, les violations du Code sur les services sans fil ont diminu\u00e9 de 48\u00a0%.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Sur les 405\u00a0marques de fournisseurs de services qui adh\u00e8rent \u00e0 la CPRST, 10 ont re\u00e7u plus de 80\u00a0% de toutes les plaintes de clients accept\u00e9es. Le rapport comprend une r\u00e9partition des plaintes par fournisseur de services, ainsi que la nature des plaintes de leurs clients.<\/p>\n<p>La CPRST a connu une augmentation de 12\u00a0% des plaintes li\u00e9es \u00e0 internet, en grande partie parce que les clients se plaignent plus souvent de la qualit\u00e9 de leur service internet. La qualit\u00e9 du service \u00e9tait le principal probl\u00e8me des clients des services internet. \u00ab\u00a0Au cours de la pand\u00e9mie de COVID-19, les Canadiens ont fait un plus grand usage de leurs services de communication, notamment pour travailler et \u00e9tudier \u00e0 distance, rester en contact avec leurs proches, commander des articles essentiels et s\u2019adonner \u00e0 leurs loisirs\u00a0\u00bb, a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 le commissaire et directeur g\u00e9n\u00e9ral de la CPRST, Howard\u00a0Maker. \u00ab\u00a0Nous invitons les fournisseurs \u00e0 rester \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9coute des consommateurs et \u00e0 travailler activement avec eux pour r\u00e9soudre les probl\u00e8mes d\u00e8s qu\u2019ils se pr\u00e9sentent. Nous sommes l\u00e0 pour aider les consommateurs \u00e0 r\u00e9soudre les litiges avec leur fournisseur de services.\u00a0\u00bb<\/p>\n<p>Il y a eu 18\u00a0violations confirm\u00e9es au <a href=\"https:\/\/crtc.gc.ca\/fra\/internet\/code.htm\">Code sur les services internet<\/a> du <em>Conseil de la radiodiffusion et des t\u00e9l\u00e9communications canadiennes<\/em> (CRTC). Ce code veille \u00e0 ce que les consommateurs soient mieux inform\u00e9s de leurs droits et responsabilit\u00e9s pour comprendre les contrats de service, les forfaits et les promotions des fournisseurs de services internet. Il s\u2019agissait de la premi\u00e8re ann\u00e9e compl\u00e8te d\u2019application du nouveau Code par la CPRST.<\/p>\n<p>Les r\u00e9sultats d\u2019un sondage sur la sensibilisation du public men\u00e9 par la CPRST montrent que la connaissance de la CPRST reste stable parmi les Canadiens, depuis le dernier sondage public en 2016. \u00ab\u00a0La CPRST continuera de veiller \u00e0 ce que les Canadiens soient au courant de leur droit de recourir \u00e0 notre processus gratuit et impartial de r\u00e9solution des diff\u00e9rends\u00a0\u00bb, explique M.\u00a0Maker. La CPRST est en train d\u2019examiner son plan de mesures \u00ab\u00a0mieux faire conna\u00eetre la CPRST\u00a0\u00bb et continuera d\u2019\u00e9laborer de nouvelles initiatives de diffusion\u00a0\u00bb.<\/p>\n<p>La CPRST a pour mandat de rendre compte publiquement et annuellement de ses op\u00e9rations et activit\u00e9s.
