La CPRST aide les Canadiens \u00e0 r\u00e9soudre leurs plaintes sur les services sans fil, l\u2019internet et la t\u00e9l\u00e9phonie r\u00e9sidentielle depuis 2007.<\/p>\n<p>Les clients qui n\u2019arrivent pas \u00e0 r\u00e9soudre directement leur diff\u00e9rend avec leur fournisseur de services pourront d\u00e9poser plainte \u00e0 la CPRST, si l\u2019objet de leur plainte s\u2019est produit apr\u00e8s le 1<sup>er<\/sup> septembre, date \u00e0 laquelle la plupart des fournisseurs de services de t\u00e9l\u00e9vision ont l\u2019obligation d\u2019adh\u00e9rer \u00e0 la CPRST.<\/p>\n<p>De plus, la CPRST administrera le Code des fournisseurs de services de t\u00e9l\u00e9vision du CRTC, qui prend aussi effet le 1<sup>er<\/sup> septembre. Le Code accorde aux consommateurs divers droits en lien avec leur abonnement aux services de t\u00e9l\u00e9vision.<\/p>\n<p>Le processus de traitement des plaintes de la CPRST est impartial et gratuit pour les consommateurs. Les plaintes peuvent \u00eatre d\u00e9pos\u00e9es en ligne \u00e0 l\u2019aide d\u2019un questionnaire interactif.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Citations<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u00ab\u00a0L\u2019\u00e9largissement de notre mandat aux services de t\u00e9l\u00e9vision donne aux consommateurs des recours vers un m\u00e9canisme ind\u00e9pendant et impartial de r\u00e9solution des diff\u00e9rends qui ne leur \u00e9tait pas offert auparavant. \u00c9tant donn\u00e9 le grand nombre de Canadiens abonn\u00e9s \u00e0 un service de t\u00e9l\u00e9communication et \u00e0 un service de t\u00e9l\u00e9vision, le plus souvent en vertu d\u2019une offre group\u00e9e du m\u00eame fournisseur, cette d\u00e9cision est tout \u00e0 fait sens\u00e9e\u00a0\u00bb a indiqu\u00e9 le Commissaire de la CPRST, Howard Maker. \u00ab\u00a0Le Code des fournisseurs de services de t\u00e9l\u00e9vision fixera des normes minimales sur lesquelles les consommateurs pourront compter lors de l\u2019abonnement et de la prestation de leurs services de t\u00e9l\u00e9vision.
